Compassion International is a Christian child development
organization dedicated to releasing children from poverty. For more than two decades, Bruce Carroll has been one of the most
passionate and aggressive supporters and participants in Compassion
International's artist-driven outreach ministry. Over the last 20 years, more than 130,000 Compassion child sponsorships have resulted from the involvement of artists who, like Bruce, who have linked up with Compassion.
"I began working with Compassion more than two decades ago, and they have continued to be an integral and irreplaceable part of what God has called me to do as a performing artist," said Bruce. "Compassion helps Christians put their faith into action, and I always have complete confidence that the money that is given to Compassion helps real people, and meets real needs. It is impossible to tell anyone about the love of Christ if we aren't demonstrating that love ourselves and Compassion makes that possible for millions of us who never have the chance to go where they can go, and see what they see.
"Compassion is an innovator and a truly unique missionary outreach," he continued, "and I couldn't be more proud of my ongoing friendship with their outstanding team."

Compassion has long been a very visible and important partner in Bruce's music ministry, and is a key participant in many of the aspects of his new music ministry at Hope Church in Memphis. Among other things, Compassion is the headline sponsor of Hope's Summer Concert Series, a five-part concert series held on the Hope campus that features many of the most popular and compelling contemporary Christian and modern worship artists. During these major concert events, Bruce and Compassion together present and compel thousands of Memphians to adopt a child through Compassion.
Compassion is also a regular attendee and presenter at Hope's various music workshops that are held throughout the year on the Hope campus.
