BRUCE DEBUTS HYMNS OF HOPE IN TEXAS
Posted December 19th, 2008
In a night that could only be called unforgettable, Bruce Carroll and a remarkable team of worship leaders debut the brand new Hymns of Hope CD/DVD concert at Bend Tree Church in Dallas Texas.

Following a similar Hymns of Hope concert in Louisville earlier in the year, Bent Tree worship leader Scott Dyers and his worship team joined with Bruce and Nashville percussionist Ken Lewis and string director David Davidson. The remarkable musical team led three worship services, with a total attendance of over 4,000.
"It was yet another fantastic and truly blessed night in our Hymns of Hope concert tour," said Bruce. "To work on a project this uniqe and this powerful, with such an amazingly talented group of musicians and singers, was a thrill and a blessing for me. I think the folks at Bent Tree left feeling as uplifted and excited about these songs as we were."
The concept behind Hymns of Hope is to create a powerful and creative musical experience that can be brought to a church, and supplemented with the music and singing talent at that church. "We will continue to'tour' it as it grows," said Bruce, "and provide resources for other churches to do
the arrangements of these hymns as well as new original worship songs
from a new project as yet unrecorded."
The Hymns of Hope concert will soon arrive at LifeBridge Church in Longmont, Colorado, with worship paster Tim Foote.

THE KILLER B'S SET TO APPEAR IN MEMPHIS'S SUMMER CONCERT SERIES
Posted April 13th, 2007Mark your calendar for what promises to be one of the year's most memorable concert events!
Bruce
Carroll, Billy Sprague, and Bob Bennett -- know to friends as The
Killer B's -- are set to perform together on June 1 at Hope
Presbyterian Church's Summer Concert Series.
Bruce, if course,
is known for timeless songs like "Sometimes Miracles Hide," "The Great
Exchange," and "Above and Beyond," three of his 11 No. 1 radio hits.
Carroll has won two Grammy awards and seven Dove awards.
Billy
Sprague is a singer/songwriter in his own right, having penned some of
the most loved Christian songs of all times. "Via Dolorosa" (Sandi
Patti), "A Man After Your Own Heart" (Billy Sprague), "For Always"
(BeBe & CeCe Winans) and "Touch of Greatness" (The Prayer of Jabez)
are four of his many timeless hit songs.
Bob Bennett, of course,
has a well-earned reputation as one of the greatest songwriters in
Gospel music history. His album "Matters of the Heart" has ranked among
the top 20 contemporary Christians albums of all time. Songs like "Lord
of the Past" and "Yours Alone" have helped make Bob one of contemporary
Christian music's truly classic voices.
Come join Bruce, Billy,
and Bob the following day on Saturday, June 2nd for the Songwriting
Workshop as part of the 2007 Summer Workshop Series.
THE GROVE RELEASES "LETTERS I LEFT BEHIND" TO CHRISTIAN RADIOPosted February 19th, 2007"Letters
I Left Behind" tells the true story of a son's terminally ill father
who wrote letters to his son to be opened at different times throughout
his life. Featuring Carroll's trademark acoustic sound and warm,
welcoming vocals, "Letters I Left Behind" promises to be a key single
for inspirational radio programmers this winter.
"The kicker to
this story for me is that God did the exact same thing for us,"
observed Carroll. "God's Word is our roadmap in life. That's what
really motivated me to write and record 'Letters.'"
Carroll has
had 11 #1 songs on Christian radio. Many are similar story-song
singles, like "Sometimes Miracles Hide," which won the 1992 Gospel
Music Award's Song of the Year. The song is also the title of a
best-selling book from Howard Publishing, which seeks to reach out to
parents who have children with disabilities.
"I like telling
stories, and I guess that's why I became a songwriter," said Bruce.
"People can connect to the message when they relate to what is going on
in the song."
Respected radio promoter Lynda Meyers at Legacy
Promotions is promoting, "Letters I Left Behind". Radio programmers
interested in adding "Letters I Left Behind" to their playlist, and/or
who would like to interview Bruce on their station, can contact Meyers
at aspenmeyers@msn.
